Case study: Rimex 

The client: 

The Rimex Metals Group produces surface finishes on stainless steel and other metals. 

The challenge:  

The client required an effluent plant that could respond to varying levels of contaminants in the effluent.  

A secondary consideration was the need to use as much of the existing plant as was possible. 

The solution:  

Aqua Advice conducted laboratory treatment trials to identify the existing treatment method.  

Samples were then analysed for contaminants as per site requirements/consent to discharge to ensure proposed solution meets the consent to discharge. 

Based on our findings, the upgraded effluent plant included sulphate treatment technology and digital dosing to ensure compliance to consent limits.
